Art and recreation are sisters,
helping to reconnect humanit y to
our divine source. We can begin now to give
voice to a new vision for our global
community. While others may express
distaste for the world we see about us, we must
do what we do best: bring people together for the
fun of it; for the love of it; for the joy of it;
for peace and prosperity. We must look
beyond the bloody aftermath of racial tensions
which lacerate our communities and destroy our
sense of unity. We must look beyond the
homeless prophets boxing with their shadows on
the street corners. It is time to stand on
our tip toes and see hope for our cities and a
promise for our children. |
