On the day of Planet Teamwork the
clock will strike midnight more than 24 times.
That's because, although the world is divided
into 24 basic time zones, some countries maintain
independent time, such as Iran, Pakistan
Afghanistan, Burma, Nepal, and many islands in
the Pacific. The clock
actually strikes midnight more than 32 times in
one 24-hour period. That's why we say there will
be at least 24 activities that everyone will
perform simultaneously. Having 32 activities or
more intensifies the connection, and increases
the fun! Observing the midnight hour in each
country is not the objective. The point is to
celebrate every hour together that day, and to do
so means to celebrate at midnight, sunrise, noon,
sunset and all the hours in between for 24 hours.
